Hi! I’m Christina, and welcome to my yoga YouTube channel, ChriskaYoga! This is a Hatha Yoga for Beginners class that is about 30 minutes in length. It’s a very gentle practice, and you won’t be needing any yoga props.

This class offers some great beginner yoga poses and basic yoga for beginners. It’s great for anyone who is just starting out and looking to get back to the basics.

In this class, we’ll cover savasana, a gentle hamstring stretch (apanasana), cat and cow stretches, a balancing pose on hands and knees (tricky cat), downward facing dog pose (adho mukha svanasana), low lunge (lizard pose), high lunge (crescent lunge), warrior 2 (virabhadrasana II), a wide legged forward bend (prasarita padottanasana), and a seated twist (ardha matsyandrasana).
