Can Sanuk Yoga slings get wet?
Water-friendly, but not water-proof – while you can get them wet and even wear them in the water, since the yoga mat footbed doesn’t have sealed edges, these flip flops tend to hold onto water (like a sponge). They also take a long time to thoroughly dry out.
Do Sanuk shoes stretch out?
They do stretch! You can buy them smaller and use a shoe stretcher. I got an 8 and they’re a little snug at first. I spray them with warm water to get them damp, put the shoe stretcher in to the appropriate setting, and let them dry overnight.

Cleaning your kicks is a matter of material, not rocket science. So as long as the upper on your Sanuk isn’t leather (most aren’t), a friendly machine wash on cold should do the trick. Throw ’em in, add a color safe detergent and spin to win.
