Are you new to yoga? A complete beginner? If so, there is no better time to start than now. There are no prerequisites for this series or class. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose!

Yoga 101 series is a five-class series that gradually teaches the basics of Hatha yoga combines physical postures, deep breathing and meditation (relaxation). This series is perfect pace for those new to yoga. No matter what your body type, age or degree of flexibility and strength, this series will help you understand them yoga, feel comfortable on your yoga mat and let mental and physical stress.

This class will teach you the nuts and bolts of yoga. You get a feel for yoga, as well as learn the basics, so you can build a solid foundation. We will discover deep breathing, exercise beginner yoga postures with optional props and modifications, as well as learn safe physical alignment. Start now, just as you are, and experience what yoga is all about!

Bring along a yoga block, yoga band (or a work belt), and a folded blanket or towel. You can still practice this class without the props, but they are very useful for beginners if available.
