Ashtanga Yoga – Gentle Beginners Routine



Join Jeff Lichty for an inspirational and gentle 20 – 30 minute yoga practice for beginners. This practice is very easy to follow and is the perfect start to one’s day.

One can easily follow this sequence at home with no prior experience. There are tremendous health benefits and also one will begin to sense a deeper sense of aliveness and wellbeing.

‘Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga’ is a Yoga tradition that was taught by Shri K. Pattabhi Jois. Hatha Yoga is one of the methods prescribed for attaining self realization.

Ashtanga reads as ‘ashta’ ‘anga’ where Ashta means eight and anga means limb. So it essentially is the eight folded path for self realization.
